Carbon-to-nitrogen ratio in late Pleistocene ice wedges and in modern soils in the Batagay megaslump, north of Yakutia

The content of carbon and nitrogen, as well the carbon-to-nitrogen ratio in genetic horizons soil cover, yedoma deposits organic residues syngenetic ice wedges (IW) upper IW complex Batagay megaslump were studied. studied soils belong to silty-loam Spodic Cryosol (Dystric,Humic) post-pyrogenic (Dystric,Humic). To study nitrogen content, first second tiers tested. highest values C/N obtained horizon silty- loam (Dystric, Humic) near megaslump. average value is 0.13 mol, maximum 0.36 minimum 0.06 0.04 0.12 0.02 mol. For entire data array wedges, 3.90, 6.96, 1.05.
